Hey guys, me and my 2 friends got banned lately, we did farm aether on diffrent servers. Any of u got banned recently?

I didnt get any ban at the moment, also doing gathering / aethertapping / NoAni, were you playing in NA or EU?, also did you have any method of protection for your bots?, i.e, using return/scroll when he meet a player in range?.

Playing EU, didnt used any protection. Didint know there is function like that.

Also
cooco posted a protection script to logout if certain player is in your range
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=126
I believe with a few modifications it can make your character logout if anyone is in range despite their nickname.
Regarding your ban, its hard to tell if you were checked by a GM or reported by lots of players, the best way is to use the protection methods mentioned before, its better to reconnect every now and then than loosing your account.

Never got banned for botting or aetherbotting so far in many years of doing it but ofcourse by checking often them

In NA you get automatically banned only if you bot too many hours in one area etc. If you change locations or stop it and restart it later etc you won't get banned.
